Police and sources confirmed that a 26-year old woman was struck by a stray bullet while pushing her 2-year old daughter in a stroller in Bronx.
Cops reported that the mother was struck in the thigh just before 6 p.m. when the US crime unfolded near the intersection of Broadway and West 225th Streets.
Police believe that the bullet was fired from an unknown source and that he fled the area on foot.
The woman was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Early Friday, the suspect was still being sought.
