Tiger Woods hits golf balls in video 9 months after car crash
Tiger Woods is back on the field.
A new video was shared on Sunday on his social media channelsNearly nine months after his California accident, serious injuries, the 45 year-old golfer was seen hitting balls of golf at a golf course.
“Making progress,” Woods captioned the clip of himself, appearing to wear a black compression sleeve on his right leg.
Within moments of the video going live, Woods’ fans cheered him on with supportive comments.
“Yes Tiger! Yes! It’s happening slowly but surely. 💯🏌️♂️⛳️,” one fan wrote on Instagram while another posted, “So good to see you getting healthy.”
Justin Thomas, a fellow golfer, visited Woods in South Florida during Woods’ recovery. also re-shared his pal’s videoFollow us on Twitter.

Woods suffered serious injuries to his foot and right leg in a single-car, high-speed accident that occurred back February. He posted the photo two months later showing himself with crutches and a boot.
“My course is coming along faster than I am 😃. But it’s nice to have a faithful rehab partner, man’s best friend,” Woods shared on Instagram in April as he posed beside his furry friend.
Last month, Woods — a 15-time major champion — was spotted at his son Charlie’s golf tournament in Florida without crutches.
