Suspect randomly stabs two men in separate NYC attacks

An assailant randomly stabbed two men in separate attacks in Morningside Heights on Thursday night — leaving one of the victims in grave condition, police and sources said.

According to cops, the initial knifing took place near Amsterdam Avenue’s intersection with 123rd Street. This was just before 11 pm.

According to sources and police, another male suspect attacked another victim about 15 minutes later near Morningside Park, at the intersection of Morningside Drive & West 110th Street.

According to police, the victims were between 30 and 27 years of age. The one with the life-threatening injuries was taken to the hospital, while another will likely survive.

Police said that the attacker fled East on West 110th Street following the second stabbing, and was eventually caught in Central Park. Sources claim that a knife was found.
