Katrina Alspaugh arrested for refusing to wear mask, yells ‘Let’s go Brandon’
A woman was arrested at a Las Vegas airport last weekend after allegedly refusing to wear a face mask aboard a plane then screamed “Let’s go Brandon” and other obscenities as she was taken into custody, a report said.
Police said Katrina Alspaugh first caused a scene Sunday at the security checkpoint at McCarran International Airport when she tried to punch another passenger who complained she wasn’t wearing a face covering, KLAS reported.
Alspaugh then boarded an Allegiant Air flight — only to be removed by an airline worker because she allegedly wouldn’t comply with a federal requirement to wear a face mask while on the plane, the report said.
Police said as officers were escorting Alspaugh off the jet bridge, she yelled “Let’s go Brandon” — a bizarre substitute for the “F–k Joe Biden.”
Alspaugh was charged for violating airport regulations.
In 2021 alone, more than 5,000 incidents of passengers misbehaving have been reported to the Federal Aviation Administration. Most complaints are based on people who refuse to cover their faces.
