Two men hurt in overnight NYC shootings

Police said that a gunman killed two people during an argument at Staten Island.

The violence unfolded shortly before 10 p.m. Friday outside the Amendment 18 Bar & Grill on Bay Street in Stapleton when the unidentified gunman blasted a 51-year-old man in the stomach and a 39-year-old man in the hip, an NYPD spokesman said.

Police said that the men with injuries not life-threatening were transported to Richmond University Medical Center.

Police said that two Washington Heights women sustained lacerations after they engaged in a brawl with a man, and another woman, at 2:10 a.m., outside Washington Heights’ 3920 Broadway.

The victims, a 21-year-old woman and a 39-year-old woman were struck with an unknown object, “possibly keys,” an NYPD spokesman said.

According to police, the women with injuries not life-threatening were taken to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
