The weekly Hempstead Food Share was transformed into a food share “bonanza” on Nov. 21. Long Island Food Not Bombs, a group of individuals dedicated to fighting social, economic and environmental oppressions, hosted their largest event to date serving up vegan friendly Thanksgiving inspired cuisine to over 1000 people in-need.
