The Long Island Report guide to immigration resources
Immigration reform is set to be discussed in the U.S. Congress over the next couple of months. The Senate Judiciary Committee is currently considering an 844-page bill, which would include a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants and create a new merit-based immigration system.
Richly diverse, Long Island is a melting pot for immigrants from all different countries and cultures. As a result, immigration services ranging from law services to political advocacy have sprung up from Nassau to Suffolk.
We have compiled a list of immigrant services on Long Island as a resource for whatever need you may have. Please let us know any note-worthy organization we may have missed.
